StockX describes themselves as ‘the stock market of things,’ and is a great place to find clothes and sneakers that are rare, discontinued, or hard to find. There’s a great authentication system in place, meaning users trust the website, and because of the nature of the items, people are willing to spend their cash. If you have any interesting pieces of clothing or rare sneakers, then this is the place for you.
The system for selling is unique. Once you upload your item to sell, people can start bidding on it. You can accept any offer you like, so wait to see if you get a better offer, but don’t wait too long. Offers can be removed and retracted, so you need to be quick. Alternatively, you can set a minimum bid, and once the auction reaches this amount, the sale will go through.

Depop
Depop is an app to help you sell your high street clothes. You’ll find brands, from Nike and Ralph Lauren to used Galaxy Teez on here. Just take a picture and add a description to create your listing. Once someone buys, you’ll get paid within 14 days of listing the product, and Depop takes a flat 10% commission on all sales.
Vestiaire Collective
This website has been set up specifically for designer clothing, and is perfect if you have a habit of buying a designer item and only wearing it once. You create your listing by signing up to the website, setting up a new listing, and adding photos and a description.
The listing will then go through an approval process to make sure the brand and condition of the item meet their standards. Once the item has been sold, send it to Vestiaire to check the item and post it to the buyer. You can also use their concierge service that will do everything for you, including the photographing and selling for an additional fee
