Interested in doing a colon cleanse using natural ingredients?  Good for you.  Going natural on your detox tools is a whole lot healthier than opting for those chemical products that offer the same results minus the safety.

And if you’ve been curious about the use of aloe vera for colon cleanses, then you must know that aloe vera is one potent plant that has a variety of properties that are effective for your spring cleaning goal.  Here are some DIY aloe vera detox drinks that will help make your colon spic and span.

1. Aloe vera + Lemon

A powerful aloe vera detox drink can be made from two potent ingredients – aloe vera and lemon.  For this simple detox drink, you need aloe vera, lemon, and water.  Extract about a tablespoon of aloe vera gel and put it in a glass of water.  Add another tablespoon of lemon juice to complete your detox drink.

The good news is that you can make a jar of this goodness so you can start your aloe vera colon cleanse in no time.  You need a pound of strawberries (sliced into halves), three pieces of cucumber (washed, peeled, and cut), and two ounces of aloe vera gel or concentrate.

Divide the strawberries and cucumbers into three portions so your blender can easily accommodate each portion.  Blend the two together until all portions are well mixed.  Empty into a jar and mix the aloe vera juice.  Stir it well and enjoy your aloe vera colon cleanse!

3. Green Juice with Aloe Vera

Another great option for an aloe vera colon cleanse is to mix it with your favorite green juice to make it even healthier and extra effective in getting your insides cleaned out.  You can try this amazing green juice that makes use of 6 apples, 2 oranges, 4 stalks of celery, a bunch of spinach, and 2 tablespoons of aloe vera.

Simply blend all the ingredients well until you get the desired consistency of your drink.  This recipe should make about four servings.

4. Aloe Vera Morning Booster

Looking for a recipe that will give you a good jumpstart in the morning and help you feel recharged and rejuvenated?  This aloe vera colon cleanse drink should do just that for you.  Get it done by preparing a cup of aloe vera gel, a teaspoon of wheat grass powder, one peeled banana, a cup of spinach leaves, two freshly squeezed orange juice, a cup of water, and a teaspoon of spirulina.

Making your own aloe vera detox drinks ensures that there are no added chemicals or preservatives to your drinks.  When taken on a daily basis, aloe vera can promote increased energy because the body is able to get rid of the stuck debris in the colon that prevents it from absorbing all the nutrients that the body requires to function at its best.
