5 Positive Attitudes That Women Should Have to Become Fit and Healthy

5 Positive Attitudes That Women Should Have to Become Fit and Healthy

Achieving our weight loss goals may never be that easy, yet it’s possible. You may have been doing a lot of exercises, workouts, small portioned meal plans, or getting into a fitness class to get your healthy body fat percentages, but those are not enough. To achieve your weight loss goals, a strong mindset and a positive attitude are also important while doing all of the necessary things that you’ve to do in order to become fit and healthy.

1. Hard Work

All the important things in life require hard work, and achieving your weight loss goals is absolutely not an exception to this. Hard work is needed in our daily exercise and workout. If you just exercise haphazardly and randomly, you’ll never get the weight that you’re aiming for. You have to sweat it out in order for you to burn that excess fat and those calories. If you just give in to laziness and procrastination, then just forget about your weight loss goals because you’ll never be able to achieve it without working your ass off.

2. Self – Control

Ever heard of the Doctrine of the Mean? Aristotle and Confucius used it as a part in their philosophies, but it actually just points out the same thing: that too much or too little of anything isn’t good for the person. For example, if you want to become fit and healthy, eating too little food isn’t good because the person might become malnourished, but eating too much food is also not good because it can lead to obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and other illnesses.

So the key now is to find the median between the two extremes in order for us to act in the right manner. This is where our self-control comes in. To achieve our weight loss goals, it’s necessary for us to be neither in excess nor in deficiency with the amount of food, exercise, and rest that we get every day. Getting the mean between excess and deficiency requires an amount of self-control from us. You love to eat chocolates, but too much of it’ll result in weight gain, so you must have self-control so you don’t eat the entire bag of chocolates. Self-control is needed for you to achieve moderation with your food intake and different habits, which can either make or break your weight loss goals.

3. Determination

Determination is also important because once you’re determined to achieve something, you won’t get easily discouraged from actually realizing it. Determination can lead us to reach new heights. Even if you’ve to exert a lot of effort to make your weight loss goals happen, or even if you’ve to double your hard work, if you’re not determined, you’ll easily be discouraged when faced with big challenges. But once you’ve the determination to become fit and healthy and reach your weight loss goals, you’ll surely get to your desired weight no matter how hard it might be. become fit and healthy

4. Consistency

Whether you’re doing workouts, having planned meals, or doing any other forms of fitness programs, the key to achieve your weight loss goals is to be consistent with whatever you’re doing. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Likewise, exercise and diet won’t have any effect on your weight if you’re not consistent in doing them. You need to exercise and watch your food intake constantly instead of just doing them only once in a while. The secret to achieving your goals is to have a habit that you’ll be doing every single day, and the answer to that is consistency.

5. Patience

In today’s society where people are used to having everything instantly (i.e. instant coffee, instant noodles, etc), patience is indeed a virtue. Remember that you cannot lose your weight instantly after just one exercise or workout. In the natural order of things, you’ll have to continue with your fitness program for a certain period of time before you can finally see its results. So learn to develop patience and don’t be too hasty. Enjoy every single day that it takes you to achieve your goals, because remember, all good things in life require much time.

Armed with these mind-sets, you’re now ready to work your way toward the weight that you’re aiming for. Together with proper exercise, a balanced diet, and these must-have positive attitudes, you’ll become fit and healthy.
