Before learning about the subconscious and the superconscious mind, you need to fully grasp the concept of a conscious mind. This will enable you to easily identify if you’re using your conscious or subconscious mind.

Once you determine that you’re using or activating your subconscious mind, you’ll then find it easier to tap into the superconscious part of your brain.

The conscious mind refers to the part of your brain that you actively or knowingly use in order to accomplish any task. This is also the first part of your brain that is utilized whenever you need to move or do anything, making it the easiest part to activate and optimize.

Being the first part of the brain that is used to accomplish basic to complicated tasks, moving from the conscious to the subconscious mind can be a challenge for many. However, with the right tools, this skill can be learned over time.

What Is the Subconscious Mind?

The subconscious mind is the second layer of consciousness that is activated when accomplishing tasks that you’ve learned throughout the years or tasks that you’ve mastered through constant usage or practice.

These are the tasks that you can successfully, accurately, and properly accomplish without focusing too much.

These tasks can include anything from riding a bike to learning how to swim, as these skills are very difficult and can even be possible to unlearn.

Because of the fact that the subconscious mind is normally activated when accomplishing tasks that are too easy or menial, it’s often hard to determine that you’re already using your subconscious mind.

When accomplished though, you’ll find it easier to access your superconscious mind.

What is the Superconscious Mind?

The superconscious mind refers to the highest form of consciousness, which is why it’s the hardest form to tap.

Many experts believe that tapping into this form of consciousness will enable you to reap a lot of benefits, which you can use academically or professionally. According to many, there are a lot of ways to tap into this higher form of consciousness.

One of the most popular ways to access your superconscious mind is meditation. It has also been said that doing so takes years, even if you’ve been meditating all your life.

This just goes to show that accessing and using your superconscious mind cannot happen overnight and you need to invest in different and varied techniques.

  1. Hard believing an article that claims the major construct is “scientific,” when the statements made supporting that are:
    “It has been said that Carl Jung has always believed that there’s more to the human brain than what meets the eye…” (opinion)
    2. “This is what led him to probe deeper into the human consciousness and discover many things, such as the different archetypes that exist among humans and the concept of instincts and unconsciousness.” Not “scientific”; there are dozens of classifications among different psychologists and laymen.
    3. “He argued and proved that these instincts are not merely coincidences but are actually a conscious effort by the brain…. He also opened the idea of using an electromagnetic spectrum in order to determine the depth of the superconscious mind from a quantifiable standpoint.” Pure speculation.

    No research; no other peer-reviewed studies done in the 70 years since Jung published?? Does anyone fall for this advertising? Anyone who publishes this non-scientific nonsense will not let my statement stand– because it doesn’t stand to scrutiny.

  2. 9-12-19: The most effective way to meditate is using a mantra as espoused by Transcendental Meditation which I have done since 1967. In addition, chanting is the most effective tool for getting your desires fulfilled as espoused by the Japanese church, Nicheren Shoshu Temple where everyone chants Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo which I have done since 1972.
